What happens when a customer scans your QR

End-to-end walkthrough of the customer experience.

Updated 17 June 2026·3 min read
  1. Customer opens their phone camera and points it at your QR poster.
  2. Their phone shows "Tap to open fidz.app/scan/your-slug".
  3. They tap. A page in your brand colours opens.
  4. They enter their mobile number and (optionally) their name, email and birthday, then tick the consent box.
  5. They submit. Their card is created instantly.
  6. Two buttons appear: "Apple Wallet" and "Google Wallet". Two taps to add.
  7. One hour later, if you've configured Google reviews, they get a push asking for a review.

Total time: under 60 seconds. No app to download. No account to create. The mobile number is the only ID — used to recognise them on return visits.

The scan page auto-detects the customer's language (English, Italian, Hindi, Arabic, French or Vietnamese) so the form shows in their language, with a manual language picker as a fallback.
